External Drive Not Recognize Issue: Removable disk drives—chahe wo USB flash drives ho ya external hard drives unka use karna aasan hona chahye. Lekin kabhi kabhi aisa bhi hota hai ke aap drive ko PC ya kisi dusre device me USB cable se connect karte hai aur wo show nahi hota hai.

Is problem ke kayi karan ho sakte hai jaise- external drive me partition issues, Wrong file system name, dead USB ports, ya phir Windows me driver issues. Aur bahut bure case me Driver ka dead ho jana.

Agar aapne bhi kabhi is problem ka samna kiya hai to chalye dekhte hai ke windows me is  External Drive Not Recognize Issue ko diagnose kaise karen.

Step 1: Sure kare ke Aapke Drive ka power On hai

Yeh ek shuruaati step ke sath sath ek zaroori checking bhi hai. Lagbhag har Flash drive aur kayi external hard drives ko ek separate power source ki zaroorat nahi hoti hai. Unhe USB se power milti hai.

Halaki kuch desktop external drives me dedicated power cables ya kam se kam ek physical power switch hota hai.

Agar aapke sath aisa case hai aur aapko external hard drive dikhayi nahi de rahi hai to aapke power cable ke sath koi problem ho sakti hai. Ise kisi dusre power outlet me plugin karne ki koshish karen ya agar possible ho to cable ko swap karen. Unit pe chamakti huyi light ko check kare jo move karne se pahle activity ko indicate karta hai.

Step 2: Drive ko Disk Management me Check karen

Sabse Pahle check karen ki windows drive ko plugin karte waqt detect kar raha hai ke nahi. Agar pahle se aapne Apne removable drive ko windows me plugin nahi kiya hai to plugin karen aur in steps ko followe karen.

• Disk Management tool ko open karne ke liye  Windows Key + X ko press karen ya phir aap Run dialog ko Windows + R se open kar ke diskmgmt.msc enter kar ke is utility ko open karen.

• Yahan Disk management me aapko apna External drive listed dikhega. Aapka Removable drive yahn pe Removable device ke taur pe dikhna chahye.

Agar aapko Drive yahan pe dikhta hai to aap section 4 pe jayen.  “Ek naya Volume banaye aur Drive Letter Assign karen.” yahan aap Partition karenge aur/ya ise formate karenge taki dusre device access kar saken.

Agar aapki external device abhi bhi dikhayi nahi de rahi hai to yahan pe aapko ye pahchahne ki zaroorat hogi ke aapka device kyu recognize kar rahi hai. Aisa ho sakta hai ke aapke drive me hardware issue ho, driver problem ho, ya dead drive ki samasya ho.

Step 3: Dusre USB Port aur Computer ko Use kare

• Aisa ho skata hai ke problem aapke device na ho balki us port me ho jise aap use kar rahe ho. Isliye computer pe port ko change karen. Agar ye dusre port me kaam karta hai to wo port dead ho sakta hai.
• Agar aapne USB Hub me dreive ko plug kiya hai to ise sidhe computer pe plug karen. Kuch USB port external drive ko kaam karne ke liye paryapt power nahi dete hai.
• In dono step ko try karne ke bad bhi agar drive show nahi karta hai to ye janna bahut mushkil hai ke aapka drive kharab hai ya aapke computer me koi problem hai.
• Computer ki problem ko confirm karne ke liye aap dusre computer ka use kar sakte hai. Agar kisi bhi computer pe aapka drive detect nahi ho raha hai to aapka drive dead ho chuka hai aur aapko ise replace karne ki zaroorat hai.
• Jub aap kisi dusri machinne ko try karte hai to aap ye zaroor dekhe ke drive Disk Management window me aa raha hai ke nahi.

Step 4: Troubleshoot Driver Issues

Agar Drive dusre computer pe dikhayi deti hai ya aapke pass test karne ke liye dusra computer nahi hai to Windows me aapke driver ke sath koi problem ho sakti hai. Device Manager ki madad se aap ise check kar sakte hai.

• Device Manager open karen
• Disk Drive category ko exoand karen aur uske side me yellow exclamation wale dusre device ko check karen. Agar aapko ye symbol dikhta hai to us device me driver problem hai.
• Issue wale Device pe right click kar ke properties ko selet karen aur error message dekhe. Ye error message aapko problem ko fix karne me madad karega.

• Driver ki problem ko aksar thik karne me diqat aati hai. Agar problem haal me hi shuru huyi hai to Change ko wapis roll back karne ke liye system restore run karne ki koshish kare.
• Agar ye kaam nahi karta hai to aap Update Driver button ki madad se updated driver ko install kar sakte hai.
• Driver menu me kuch aur bhi options hai jaise Roll Back Driver button jo kisi bhi  recent driver updates ko revert kar dega.
• Last solution ke taur pe apne system se device ko remove karen. Jub aap drive ko reconnect karenge to window deriver ko reinstall karega aur use correctly configure kar lega.

Step 5: Create a New Drive Volume

Agar aapka device step 2 me kiye gaye Disk Management me ya kisi dusre troubleshooting steps me show hota hai to aap drive ko initialize karne ke liye tayar hai taki ye usable ho. Aapke basic information ko dikhane ke alawa Disk Management tool aapke drive ke sath partition aur file system issues ko fix kar sakta hai.

Agar aapka removable drive sirf  Unallocated space show kar raha hai, to aapko us par naya partition create karna hoga. Ye windows aur dusre operating system ka use karne ki permissionm deta hai. Aisa karne ke liye Unallocated space pe kahi bhi right click karen New Simple Volume select karen aur naya partition banane ke liye wizard pe jayen.

Agar aapka device partition kiya hua hai aur phir bhi aap ise nahi dekh rahe hai to aap ensure karen ke isme driver letter set hai. Ye automatic hona chahye. Lekin agar aapne manual roop se driver letter hata siya hai to driver letter me accessible nahi hoga.

Driver letter ko change karne ke liye removable drive’s partition pe right click kare aur Drive Letter and Paths ko select karen. Agar device me koi letter nahi hai to Add pe click karen aur kisi ek ko choose karen. Agar aisa hota hai to Change pe click karen aur dusri koshish karen.

Step 6: Format the Drive

Agar device partitioned appear hota hai, lekin aap ise abhi bhi access nahi kar pate hai, to shayad kisi dusre file system ke sath partoitioned hai.

Udahran ke liye aapne Mac pe Linux ya APFS File system ke sath drive Format kiya hai. Is tarah se aapko naye NTFS ya purane FATS32 file system ke sath driver ko dobara reformate karne ki zaroorat hogi taki Windows ise pahchan sake.

Disk Management utility me partition ko reformate karne ke liye use right click karen aur format ko select karen.

Is baat ka dhyan rakhen ki Format apke Driver pe sabhi files ko mita dega, isliye aapko continue karne se pahle apne important files ko kisi dusre device pe opy kar len.

 

Format karte waqt aap  Allocation unit size ko Default chor den,  Perform a quick format ko check kare, file system chunte waqt is baat ka dhyan den ke aap kis tarah ka derive use kar rahe hai aur ise kis liye use kar rahe hai.
